Locations
Locations are determined by the Council Director and Board of Advisors. Sites must provide at least two volunteer coaches who will be trained by Girls on the Run of Gaston County, a contact person, a safe place for running (this does not have to be a track), a rainy-day location, meeting space, and assistance with advertising and registration.
Due to the rapid growth of Girls on the Run of Gaston County, all schools must provide an active contact person willing to assist with registration and be the liasion between the Director and the site!

Registration
Registration for Girls on the Run of Gaston County is currently handled individually at each site.
Girls on the Run of Gaston County will begin its Spring 2010 Season on Monday, February 8th. Practices will start on Monday or Tuesday.
Registration will open Monday, January 11th at 8 AM and will close Thursday, January 21st OR once a site is full.
Information and forms will be available at each school (or site) or and will soon be available for dowload on this website. Registration forms may be turned in to the school office or mailed to Girls on the Run of Gaston County, 991 W. Hudson Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Fee
Program fee is $150.
This fee includes:
- 12-weeks of curriculum based lessons by trained GOTR coaches
- Lesson materials and snacks
- Program t-shirt and water bottle
- 5K registration and t-shirt
