Join Girls on the Run of Gaston County for our 3rd Annual New Balance Girls on the Run 5K in Historic Downtown Belmont. Our girls, coaches, families, running buddies, and friends will gather for a fun-filled morning of Girls on the Run excitement. This event is open to the public and will include food, music, a post-race celebration, awards, and giveaways.
Girls on the Run of Gaston County has grown tremendously in the last two years . This fall we are fielding 64 teams at 31 sites with 870 girls participating. Of these girls, 65% were awarded full or partial scholarships. The proceeds of this New Balance Girls on the Run 5K will provide scholarships for future Girls on the Run.

Time: 5K Race begins at 9 AM
Race Day Registration and Pre-race festivities begin a 8 AM in Stowe Park.
Starting Line: Main Street near City Hall
Finish Line: Main Street in front of Caravan Coffee
Course: Race participants will enjoy Belmont's charming homes and unique storefronts as they run through downtown Belmont.
