Locations
Locations are determined by the Council Director and Board of Advisors. Sites must provide at least two volunteer coaches who will be trained by Girls on the Run of Gaston County, a contact person, a safe place for running (this does not have to be a track), a rainy-day location, meeting space, and assistance with advertising and registration.
Due to the rapid growth of Girls on the Run of Gaston County, all schools must provide an active contact person willing to assist with registration and be the liasion between the Director and the site.

Registration
Registration for Girls on the Run of Gaston County is currently handled individually at each site.
Girls on the Run of Gaston County will begin its Fall 2011 season the week of September 12th. Practices will start on Monday or Tuesday.
Registration is now open and will close Wednesday 7th. Information and forms will be available at each school (or site) or and will soon be available for dowload on this website. Registration forms may be turned in to the school office or mailed to Girls on the Run of Gaston County, 991 W. Hudson Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
Registrations procedures are determined by each site.
Fee
Program fee is $150.
This fee includes:
- 12-weeks of curriculum based lessons by trained GOTR coaches
- Lesson materials and snacks
- Program t-shirt and water bottle
- 5K registration and t-shirt
