Girls on the Run of Gaston County

learn. dream. live. run.

It felt good to me because I got to run and exercise.  I got to experience two 5K races.  It felt so good to come across that finish line because I was very tired but filled with joy. - Morgan

Volunteer

Girls on the Run is a Volunteer-Based organization.  We depend on volunteers to be Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Site Liaisons.  We also need help packing Coach Boxes and other administrative duties throughout the year.  Running Buddies are  needed to walk/run with girls during our 5K runs.

If you are interested in volunteering or getting more information, please email
.  If there is a site at which you would prefer to volunteer, please include that information in your email.

All volunteers who have contact with girls must submit to a background check.
